Our island
Ischia is an island belonging to the archipelago of the Flegree islands, in Campania.
Located at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples and not far from the islands of Procida and Vivara, in the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is the largest of the Flegree.
It has an area of 46 square kilometers and a maximum altitude of 789 meters.
The island has six municipalities: Ischia, Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno, Forio, Barano and Serrara Fontana.
It is the only one among the islands of the archipelago to have a volcanic origin that makes it famous all over the world for its thermal waters, known since the Roman age that already described its beneficial and regenerating properties.
Another feature of Ischia, is the presence of numerous spa gardens, an exclusive formula, which manages to harmoniously combine the natural beauty of the area with the healing and relaxing power of the spa.
